Holidays to Hammamet are sun-splashed and relaxing. The beaches are stunning stretches of white sands lapped by clear blue waters, quiet and perfect for families and couples looking to enjoy some quality time without the usual crowds. This isn’t a noisy town, despite its thriving tourist trade. There are some excellent restaurants in which to enjoy the exciting Tunisian cuisine and a few ambient beachside bars in which to enjoy a drink and watch the sun set over the horizon. The town also overlooks the turquoise waters of The Gulf Hammamet: it is, overall, basking in year-round sunshine, full of ancient history, culture, and tradition, and offers plenty to see and do during your stay.

Hammamet is famous for its water sports and diving facilities. Have a go on the catamarans

and pedaloes; try windsurfing, snorkelling and more; if you are feeling braveride camel-back to beach.

Shopping in Tunisia is an experience in itself and a skill you will pick up very quickly; buy everything from stunning bird cages to carpets with their original stamp of origin. Visit the Medina in the old city and stroll around the Souks, which offer a selection of beautiful objects and impressive works of traditional arts and crafts.

If you have some time, visit the nearby Yasmine Hammamet. It is lovely marina-enjoy private excursions with music and dancing, dive in the water and swim if you want, get face painted as pirates and wear pirate head scarves, and help yourself to plenty of delicious food and drinks.
