Day 12 Afternoon

In the afternoon we were supposed to be landing in King Haakon Bay, unfortunately, the weather condition deteriorated, turning our second landing into a scenic ships cruise instead.

King Haakon Bay is a large, sheltered bay located on the eastern coast of South Georgia, an island in the South Atlantic Ocean. It is named after King Haakon VII of Norway, who visited the bay in 1906 during a scientific expedition to the to the island.
